We didn't quite get to where we wanted to be, but I think Coach Meyer has set the foundation to get our team there on a yearly basis. Our team started poorly in our first two years, and it takes time to change a culture to one that cares about winning and winning only. Joey has done that and then some, as each player was truly heart broken about not making it to the playoffs -- I'm not sure every team could say that.
It was a great group of players and coaches, but it was an even better group of fans this year. We had our best home record ever this year, and I think it had everything to do with how loud and passionate our fans are. Thank you as always for all you do to make this team a success!
This season was just a blast, and I can't wait to get right back to it. Look forward to seeing you next year!
Went to my first Mad Ants game this year, and am now a life-long fan. Cannot wait until next season.

ReplyDeleteI had a good time at every Ants game minus the Friday night game versus Reno when Benny didn't come and the team stunk it up for the big crowd.
Overall...no complaints
Hopefully next season you'll have Larry Sanders for 30+games to shore up the frontline. He needs it, you need it, the Bucks need it.
