What You Have All Been Waiting For!
An update on Uruguayan hoops! Lucky you! The only reason I update is because former Mad Ant Jamelle Cornley is playing down there, and last night his team played my old team, Atletico Cordon. Cordon, let by my two old teammates Gonchi Caneiro and Marcel Bouzout, took home the win 78-66. Jamelle did not have one of his better games, as he scored 18 points on 7-16 shooting (0-7 from 3). He did bring in 9 boards, which was one of his better performances on the glass. Right now, Jamelle's team is really struggling at 2-12, and he is just not getting any help from his national players -- a recipe for disaster. I think the best thing he could do is get out of there and come back and play for the Ants!

Their season does end long before ours. I spoke to him the other day and it seems that he is eager to get back to the states when his season is over and try to duplicate the individual success that he has achieved there.
