More Allocation/Affiliation News/Pain

As you know, we once had a shot at Tiny Gallon, the 19 year old big man (the nickname is ironic, which is the proper use of the word for all you Alanis Morrisette fans) who was cut by the Bucks a while ago. We had his rights under the new affiliation process, but Boston picked him up so Maine would have his rights.

Well, it looks like Maine may have some competition for the talents of Tiny Gallon, as Red Star Belgrade has interest in the big man, according to The Hoops Market.

Also according to The Hoops Market, a guy who we would have the rights to if he signed in the D-League, Ike Diogu, is being heavily considered by Maccabi Tel Aviv, one of the top teams in Europe. It is a long shot for a guy like Ike to come to the D-League, but it would be a bad idea for him. I think he would be picked up on a call up quickly if he could demonstrate that he is in good shape and playing well, but I guess that is the wild card. Moreover, I am sure Maccabi is offering a handsome chunk of change for his basketball services. Ike, why have you forsaken me!
