More Allocation Inspired Moves

ESPN is reporting that the Mavs signed Rashad McCants for the last week of their training camp for the sole purpose of getting his D-League rights to the Texas Legends. That is a big score for the Legends, as McCants is a heck of a player and a big name for the Legends to sell in their community. Again, great use of the allocation process, and it shows what advantages can be had by those teams with close ties to their affiliates, especially the one on one relationships that the Legends and Mavs have.
