Great News in Greece

One of the nicest kids we have ever had wear a Mad Ants uniform, Kyle McAlarney, had a great start to his Euro career this past weekend. Kyle played for us for much of the season before I ended up trading him to get the rights to Dan Dickau. Tough to pass up getting such a proven player like Dan, but it did hurt trading Kyle quite a bit. At the time, I felt like we were really struggling and needed some of the veteran leadership that Dan brought, but I still am sad that we lost him.

Kyle went to Springfield and finished his season there, and he signed this season in Greece for Ikaros. He had his first game this past weekend, and he got off to a great start. Kyle scored 19 points on 8-13 shooting with 3 threes. His shooting ability will always make him stand out, and if he will stay aggressive with that shot (something I wish he did with us), he could be great over there. I am really happy for him and I hope he keeps it up!
