Tomorrow we have our open tryouts, so things are crazy busy over here. Down the hall we have coaches getting as organized as can be with a flow of last minute names coming in by the bunch. We have Sarah and I here at the office writing, processing, etc. all the other things that need to be done as we approach the season. Trust me, between sponsorship fulfillment, continued sales, program writing, printing, basketball, etc., there is a ton to be done.
It looks like the open tryout will probably have anywhere from 50 to 70 people, which is down from last year, but still pretty good. You never know who will show up to these things, but we have done a nice job of finding talent in these tryouts in the past, and I hope it continues tomorrow.
The other thing that is keeping us busy is a TV shoot. We have Rod, Walker, AK, some Madame Ants, the mascot, and super fan Cassie all there right now, and I hope we get a good show from them all. Look for those ads a week or so before our first game.
